Upgrading Legacy Cameras
Older versions of LEGION Simulator had Cameras, but they don’t have a visible, adjustable boundary. There was also no specific Whole Model Camera; it was simply implied by not selecting a user-defined Camera.
Camera shapes were based on the aspect ratio of the model (i.e., its X and Y dimensions as defined in LEGION Model Builder).
When loading a legacy LEGION Simulator project, any Cameras therein will be upgraded automatically:
- Each Camera will gain a visible, adjustable boundary matching that Camera’s original shape.
- Camera transition mode will be removed. Transitions are now handled by the Timeline Events which activate Cameras.
LEGION Simulator will also add a real Whole Model Camera. Again, its shape will be based on the model’s aspect ratio:
